SUMMARY:Marc Roberge ( Of O.A. R.) & Friends in Concert
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:Get your tickets to see Marc Roberge and Friends in Ocean City\
,\nMaryland at the Performing Arts Center.  \nAs frontman for multi-plati
 num-selling alt-rock band O.A.R.\, Marc\nRoberge has performed for sold-ou
t crowds at many of the world’s\nmost iconic venues and helped to build
a singularly devoted fanbase\nthat spans the entire globe. \n\nWith the ba
nd now on their tenth studio album (2022’sThe Arcade)\,\nthe New York Ci
 ty-based singer/songwriter/guitarist has also\nestablished a dynamic caree
r as a solo artist over the past decade. In\na departure from the unbridle
d energy of O.A.R.’s live show\,\nRoberge’s solo tours find him taking
the stage at more intimate\ntheaters and delivering stripped-back renditi
ons of O.A.R. fan\nfavorites\, along with a carefully curated selection of
covers.\n\nAlso rooted in his off-the-cuff and warmly candid conversation
 s with\nthe audience\, the result is a prime showcase for Roberge’s deep
 ly\npersonal yet immediately resonant storytelling—an element he’s\nco
ntinually brought to O.A.R.’s music since the Maryland-bred\nband’s fo
rmation in 1996.\n\nNaming classic country troubadours among the main insp
irations behind\nhis solo shows\, Roberge isn ow at work on a debut solo a
lbum that\nspotlights the more lyrically driven and folk-leaning side of h
is\nlimitless musicality with a chance of special guests.\n
